Abstract
Background: Digital rehabilitation has been increasingly adopted in the context of digital transformation, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic. However, its integration into undergraduate education in Vietnam remains limited, with insufficient evidence on feasibility and user experience. Objective: To evaluate the feasibility and user experience of digital rehabilitation platforms in undergraduate education. Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted on 40 undergraduate students in Physiotherapy at Phenikaa University. Participants were randomly assigned to use either Rehab My Patient or a Zalo MiniApp for 2 weeks. Usability was assessed using the mHealth App Usability Questionnaire (MAUQ), and technology acceptance using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) on a 5-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20 with appropriate statistical tests (p < 0.05). Results: No baseline differences were observed between groups (p > 0.05). Both platforms demonstrated good usability (MAUQ: 3.27 - 4.23). Zalo MiniApp showed significantly better performance in basic functionality (p = 0.019). Technology acceptance and perceived learning value were high in both groups (3.67 - 4.44), with no significant differences. Conclusion: Digital rehabilitation platforms are feasible and well accepted in undergraduate education. Further studies with larger sample sizes and longer follow-up are needed to evaluate long-term effectiveness.
