About the Journal

1. Introduction
Hong Bang International University Journal of Science (HIUJS) is published by Hong Bang International University under the print press license No. 429/GP-BTTTT, issued on August 23, 2022. HIUJS has also been assigned the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN): 2615-9686 by the National Agency for Science and Technology Information under the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam. 2615-9686.
HIUJS is included in the list of journals recognized by the State Council for Professorship (HĐGSNN) for academic scoring with the following fields:
- Economics: 0.5 point
- Pharmacy: 0.5 point
- Medicine: 0.25 point

HIUJS publishes scientific issues under a fully open-access model with a frequency of 08 issues per year. Vietnamese-language issues are published in January, March, May, July, September, and November, while English-language issues are published in June and December.

HIUJS publishes the following types of manuscripts: Literature Reviews, Original Research Articles, and Communications in the following fields:

- Economics and Management

2. Aims and Scope
- To introduce scientific achievements, innovations, and experiences in teaching and scientific research within the university, nationally, and internationally.

- To publish research results, scientific research projects, and technological applications from both domestic and international scholars.

- To disseminate experiences in the management and organization of scientific and technological activities among administrators, lecturers, researchers, and students both within and outside the University.

3. Mission
HIUJS aims to contribute knowledge to the development of science and technology while meeting global standards in multidisciplinary education. It publishes scientific research results and fosters connections between science and practice, thereby contributing to improving the quality of education and training and meeting the demands of international integration.
 
4. Target Audience
HIUJS serves scientists, researchers, administrators, lecturers, doctoral candidates, postgraduate students, students of Hong Bang International University, and other interested readers.
 
5. Plagiarism Policy
The similarity index of submitted manuscripts must not exceed 30% compared with previously published works, including those by the same author(s). If plagiarism is detected, the Journal reserves the right to request clarification, revision, or to reject the manuscript. The following actions are considered plagiarism:

- Using text passages, data, images, or other information from others without proper citation.

- Citing sources but not following the citation regulations of the HIUJS. Translating part or all of a document from Vietnamese into English or vice versa without citing the original source.

- Dịch một phần hoặc dịch toàn bộ văn bản từ tiếng Việt sang tiếng Anh hoặc ngược lại mà không trích dẫn văn bản gốc.

- Copying an entire work or article of another author.

- Any other actions violating current laws on copyright and intellectual property rights.

6. Publication Ethics
Publishing an article in a peer-reviewed journal is a fundamental component in the development of a broad knowledge network. It directly reflects the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions supporting them. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated through a rigorous and scientific peer-review process. Therefore, it is essential to establish and uphold ethical standards for all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, publishers, and the scholarly community of journals owned or supported by academic institutions or societies.
 
7. Confidentiality Policy
Any information entered by users into the forms on HIUJS will be used solely for purposes related to the journal’s publication process and will not be shared with any third party or used for any other purposes.

8. Review and Peer-Review Process
Manuscripts that fall within the journal’s scope and comply with the author guidelines will be evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. The responsible editorial board member will make a recommendation before the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision.

9. Article Processing Charges
Currently, HIUJS does not charge any fees during the processes of manuscript submission, peer review, editing, or publication. This policy aims to encourage and facilitate researchers, lecturers, postgraduate students, and students to publish and disseminate their research findings to readers both nationally and internationally.
