Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the factors affecting financial literacy and skills of personal financial management of Hong Bang International University students during the digital transformation period. The survey collected data from 207 students from Hong Bang International University in all courses and disciplines. The article uses mixed research methods, including qualitative and quantitative research methods. The regression analysis results show that there are 5 factors that affect financial literacy and skills of personal financial management of students at Hong Bang International University, in the following order: The factor with the highest influence “Personal finance course” the next is the factor “Family education and part-time work”, “Personal finance Club”, “finance knowledge” and finally the factor “Training majors” students. Demographic factors also show that there are differences in financial literacy and personal financial management skills by gender, growing up area, and residence when studying at the university of Hong Bang International University students. From there, we propose suggestions to improve financial literacy and personal financial management skills.
